This is one of the original trailers for the movie FRIED GREEN TOMATOES. This trailer appeared on a video promoting the sale of the movie to video retailers.
The comments on this clip are "pending approval." I will NOT approve anything that I know to be incorrect and that includes comments that suggest that Idgie and Ruth are not a "couple." In interviews, DVD commentaries, documentaries and, most importantly, the original book by Fannie Flagg it is made quite clear that Idgie Threadgoode and Ruth Jamison are in a loving and romantic relationship.

I typically watch movies with at least 10 good explosions but I love this movie. It is 1 of about 5 drama movies that I can watch. Any drama made today is pure crap. Jessica Tandy is one of the best actresses that has ever lived. I cannot think of one really good actress today.

@idogkiller01 It takes place partially in the 80's and partially in the 30's. There was never a "lesbian sex scene" in the movie though the director Jon Avnet referred to the food fight scene as his movie's love scene.
