if you pause the video at 2:43 you can see what his ambition was when he was a high school graduate. It says: "To make the best of everything, to sail around the world with the woman I love and to paint my bumper." That is all any of us should want in life and I would say saving 12 peoples lives in the last hour of his life was "Making the best of everything."
