Many people disapprove of Lautenberg's performance in the Senate and are sick of him. He is also extraordinarily old. However, I think that the Zimmer campaign will ultimately fail, simply New Jersey has become so liberal on the whole that a Republican would not be elected to the U.S. Senate, barring some terrible development from Lautenberg's side.

Mr. Zimmer you can count on my vote. Lautenberg has lived quite comfortable off the taxpayers' hard earned money, for which he has returned very little aside from higher taxes and bloated bureaucracy. The great state of New Jersey deserves better than feel good liberalism and dreadful mismanagement.

Nevermind energy disaster, Lautenberg has been a
disaster as a senator for a generation. It's time we got him and his statist policies out of there.
