My mistake : Not 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, it's actually 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce.

Ingredients for serving 3 - 4 (3~4人分)

For Dashi stock
: 300ml water (300cc 水)
: Konbu kelp (昆布)
: Katsuobushi Bonito flake (かつお節)

: 50g carrot (にんじん)
: 2 Shiitake mushroom (しいたけ2枚)
: 50g Konnyaku (1/3蒟蒻) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konnyaku
: 80g Chicken (鶏肉)
: 50g Gobo burdock (ごぼう)

: 1/2tsp salt (小1/2 塩)  
: 1/2tsp sugar (小1/2 砂糖)
: 1 1/2tbsp soy sauce (大1.5 醤油)
: 2tbsp sake (大2 酒)

  • Im from New Zealand, so I guess a real kiwi bbq with steak / prawns / sausages and salads at the beach :)

  • paella, tortilla de patatas, cocido, lentejas estofadas, fabada asturiana, chorizo, morcilla, jamon, longaniza, panceta, patatas bravas, pollo asado, merluza, bacalao, diferentes salsas de tomate, cordero a la brasa... and the best bread in the whole world, yeah, spanish food (not mexican or south american...thats not spanish food)

  • My home sweet home taste would be etouffee, shrimp creole, red beans and rice, corn bread, stuffed bell peppers, and fried alligator. Nothing like New Orleans cuisine.

  • My home sweet home taste is socca (a speciality from South of France, from where I live and every time I eat it I feel like home) and also gnocchi with daube ! That's so goooood ! Actually, every french foods are my home sweet home tastes !!! :)

    I wish I could find some of those ingredients in France ! (like Devil's tongue from example..)
