i'm just glad that, because of artists like bon iver, a younger generation or a new generation or people who missed it the first time around might be motivated to go back and listen to the beautiful music that came from talk talk/mark hollis.

Pretty impressive....I think Mark Hollis would give it a thumbs up....Now if we could only get the real Talk Talk back together again so we could seem them do this live...

@TheMarkHollis At least they TRIED to do it live. Which is more than you and your boys ever did.
(Assuming you are Mark Hollis, which is unlikely, but if you are I'm pissed off at you for leaving us fans in the lurch and retiring. But hey, it's your life. I won't forget.)

O am going to respond on this song by a phrase from my fellow name holder Mr.Hollis:IF YOU PLAY A TWO TONES,THEN FIRST LEARN HOW TO PLAY ONE AND WHEN YOU PLAY THAT ONE TONE,YOU BETTER HAVE A DAMN GOOD REASON TO PLAY IT!!! Bon Iver should learn atleast the lyrics and the feeling of this song!!!

Anyone going after Mark Hollis tunes deserves credit for the knowing greatness, unearthing it and having the guts for trying

@Mural Just like Bill Withers...fuck anyone that criticizes either of them for retiring...individuals have to do what's best for themselves and their families. Answering to the political media machines that includes screaming senses fans is for the birds. Mark Hollis is a genius.

@roscoeellsberry hell yes! say it brother!

Ja werkelijk prachtig, zelfs beter dan het origineel, helaas.
prachtig prachtig prachtig

@TheMarkHollis - agree completely. Give it up.
-
@boznasty i doubt it - it is very pedestrian and deliberate - the original just flows.

Nice to cover this, maybe some of his fans will find Talk Talk. Sadly, he can´t really shine with voice, it sounds really mediocre but instruments (especially Moog) are spot on.
Sean (the drummer) sings.
