I crossed the MIssissippi River from Sabula, Iowa to Savanna, Illinois on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. This is an old (1932), high steel bridge of two lanes. The soundtrack is unintentional. I propped my camera on the dash and it picked up what I was listening to while driving -- Carl Maria von Weber's German singspiel (opera), "Der Freischütz."
