  • Just wanted to say thanks. I never seen someone leave the ball on the string. Anyhow your video was very helpful. I appreciate it.

  • @c197373 You're very welcome!

  • what to do if someone took off all strings at once and Bridge is now folded back? please advice (havent strunged the guitar yet)...

  • @guitaristshobi If the springs are still hooked onto the toneblock of the trem (ie - nothing's come loose or fallen off of your trem unit!), just raise the trem back up using the bar (making sure that the knife-edges are correctly seated on the two main posts) and place a suitable block under it to support it while you finish your string change.

If you are concerned that something may be out of place or whatever, then do take your guitar to a reputable guitar store / tech to have it checked.

  • whats the best string for ibanez guitar?

  • @Aerodynamic14 Most are strung with D'Addario EXL120 (9-42 gauge) from the factory for standard tuning.

  • my floyd has too many springs soomuch that the arm is pointing up.. so what should i do to make it float?

  • Do Dean Razorbacks (7-String) have a floating trem?

  • So, what would I do if I hypothetically wanted to have the guitar in drop C versus standard tuning, and wanted to change to heavier gauges of strings so that they were tighter in that tuning?

  • Thank you! This helped me so much!

  • thank 4 the vid got a couple questions 4 u i dont have a block of wood i was told by a friend who is a guitarist that a deck of card would work is that true an the other question is i plan to change my gauge strings from 9 gauge to 10 gauge how do i adjust the action on the tremolo do u have a video for that

  • @Voddgreen Seems you have Edge III (in vide, it is original edge ,I believe), which is kinda same setup-wise, as new Edge Pros. If you would have lo-pro it is pretty same just the string locking studs and fine tuners have another position

  • I have a question. My Ibanez RG320PG P1 have a different bridge and I'm wondering, should I trim the strings where the fine tuners are?? Does it matter which bridge I have? PLEASE ANSWER. cheers.

  • this is the tremolo that the Ibanez RG4EXQM1-TGB has right?

  • @ovrdrvn i managed to change the strings but my 6th string keeps going out of tune...any tips?

  • @SugarDaddyLucifer I am also the 100,100th viewer. High five!
