This is probably the most helpful review I've watched on Youtube (and I've watched about two dozen in the last few hours). Maybe it's an age thing, as we're both young, but most "reviews" are 40 year old balding white guys playing a bunch of improvisational blues riffs. That has it's place, but it's nice to hear something people know.
The amp sounds good, I'll be buying one shortly. Nice playing, and thanks.

If you're going direct just mic it with a condenser mic. It sounds great. You don't even have to turn it up loud enough for it to overdrive.

@HRcircut85 yes of course. that would suit you perfectly.

@000steelandstone000 Or you could just let me borrow one of your special Olympics ribbons....that should suffice.

@HRcircut85 well done. shall i give you a medal, tough guy?
How well does this amp take pedals? Specifically a Boss MD-2..

@loserfest not bad at all man, especially for the price. I've never used it with that pedal, but I did a quick rhythm guitar cover of symphony of destruction using the amp and a dist pedal to show you. I'll have it up soon

What the hell are you arguing about? Keep it friendly guys. Plus tone depends really on your setup. If you have a crappy amp, there wont be much touch dynamics, so your amp and setup will dictate most of the tone. When you have better gear, it lets the playing shine through.

I recommend buying a used yamaha strat for around that price range. I don't know the models, but my friend's brother plays a cheap one and I was impressed at the price to quality ratio.
