If you've been discussing our Presidential candidates with friends and family, chances are you rarely win any arguments with people who support the other guy. Maybe it's not just stubbornness. New research has found that people with strong opposing political views might also have very different physical responses to threat.

  • Dont argue about politics or religion, because you will never win. Both sides think they are right so why try to make them think other wise?

I say if you dont even care if they live or die, then dont bother caring about their opinions.

  • Check my uploaded videos and tell me if you all agree or not with my views and share your opinions. I am open to both sides to the arguement and will not call you names or jump on you for your views. This is America and everyone has an opinion on my videos I'd like to know yours.

  • no thanks faggotassdumbfuck.

  • TITS or GTFO!

Great video indeed it really gives an insight into the human brain. :)

  • I would agree with you on that, It does seem biased....

  • could it be that liberals are generally prescribed anti-depressants more? Thats an extraneous variable issue

  • Does this mean that Political Scientists know very little about conducting scientific experiments...I guess so. also it's just the fight or flight response. I'd like to think people cast their votes without adrenaline running through thier veins.

  • Not only is this substandard research, the fact that it was carried out at all speaks volumes about the biases of the researchers and academia in general. Who gave them a grant, anyway? Is this the kind of shit we waste money on?

  • Interesting theory, but looking at the methodology of the experiment in the abstract, his hypothesis is not scientifically supported. Unfortunately this is simply weak science. the N value was far too low, not from varied backgrounds or ethnicities, and people were recruited based on political beliefs (strong).

    classic example of biased research

  • Excellent video. The greater message you guys cannot openly speculate on because you may be perceived as bias can be said by your commentors. When unruly leaders create the spectre of threat, it tends to socially engineer what actions people take to find a comfort level--and that action may take place at the polling stations.
