STS-41-G was the 13th Space Shuttle flight and the 6th by Challenger. It took off from Launch Pad 39-A on October 5, 1984 at 11:03:00 UTC. It landed at the Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility on October 13, 1984 at 16:26:33 UTC. The main payload carried and placed into orbit was the Earth Radiation Budget Satellite, planned to have a two year life but ended up lasting over twenty.
This is not my own video, I downloaded it off of shuttlesource.com and edited it on my own.

The JSC guy isn't too swift on this one either lol. Talking over the astronauts and CAPCOM which is a no-no. And no outdoor sound at all, not one of the better shuttle launches from a TV viewers experience any haha.

Rocky Raab's first shuttle launch and not too smooth " 5-3-2-1" Also forgot to say we have lift-off " the history's largest astronaut crew"...huh??? lol. Poor guy, maybe first time jitters or not thinking in the rush of the moment.
