Sorry, both steam and smoke are emitted fom the chimney. You are wrong. Please refer to someone who drives them.

Hey great stuff - I was down at Southampton getting frozen on the bridge by the level crossing...hoping Clan Line would be blasting past...but it crept by, just as it did at Eastleigh in the morning. As for emissions...smoke comes out of the chimney - and there was lots of smoke - steam from the cylinders, and with Clan Line, the brake pump at the back of the tender!

I have watched all yor vids and they are very good..however I wish you wuld choose your words a litle more carefully...the engine is emitting predominantly steam and not smoke(we nearly choked on the smoke re A4)to my knowledge no one has ever been choked by a Steam Train Indeed, there are more harmful fumes on our roads(cars & buses!!)leading to e.g Asthma. Please, no more silly comments.
