It is not referring to the resurrection of Christ days after he was killed as what Christians believe. It is referring to the day he will be brought back to life along with all other creation to be judged by Allah on the day of judgement. I can assure you that no true Muslim would deny any part of the Quran. Islam means "submission to god" entirely and not partially.

@ONEROADTOHEAVEN Jesus will die, but he hasn't yet.

@ONEROADTOHEAVEN Thank you for listening & reading a translation of The Glorious Quran. Enough people have tried to explain the wording and linguistic features in those verses you mentioned.I believe they have done a great job in doing that and I pray to Allah(God) to bless them. And,I hope this beautiful chapter (Maryam) gave you some perspective of the Holy Quran, the truth. Specially when you go to Verse 35, which totally denies the Christian believe of God begetting a Son. Peace be on you :)

JazakAllah The story of Mary mother of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him)

@ONEROADTOHEAVEN And peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I die and the day I shall be raised alive!
Notice The day I DIE
PRESENT !!
Not the day I DIED !!
PAST !!

@ONEROADTOHEAVEN In the line you speak of Jesus Peace be upon him was speaking in past tense then events which were to happen in the future. Meaning peace be upon him on the day which he was born on the day he will die and then again on the day he is raised from the dead. Pay attention to the literary tools used in the book or you will continue to make errors. A Man can speak of an inevitable event like death with certainty it will happen even if it has not happened yet.

@IslamAnswersBack I agree the part about rising again refers to the day of judgement when everyone who had lived and died will rise again. It is not to be confused with the christian belief of Jesus rising from the dead two days following his death on the cross.
Sura Maryam verse 33, 34 said,Jesus was born, died and rose again??? But Islam denies this!! Simply ignored this becouse it is not genuine from Heaven???

@ONEROADTOHEAVEN The same things was said of John the baptist in the same sura. Peace be upon him the day he was born the day he dies and the day he is raised. Both were born, both will die and both will be risen on Judgment day. Jesus (pbuh) in the Quran never died on the cross nor was crusified. Someone else was put in his place.
