Rockola 100/ Model 1484/ made 1960, can be wall mounted or on a stand, holds 50 records,
one of the first stereo models, still visible mech, this one I restored 12 years ago works well , but I belive would sound better with satalite speekers, wieghs 165 lb so you need big bolts to hold it onto the wall ?? ( the good bit is that it's small and fitts anywhere, ( very easy to work on,
I revaneared the sides and repainted the mech tray and recromed it , so it looks the part.

  • Hi , I resprayed it all , including the arm, so it all matches , it was a shed when collected.,the only thing missing is the reject arm , it never had one , thanks for the interest Tim.

  • I wish you well Good luck with the restoration , and hope to see it on you tube one day , best wishes Tim.

  • Lucky you!I feel they were used very little here but I know where one is that I will buy someday when i have the money....What would the price there for one be in US dollars?

  • Hi Dan, I paid about $1000 ten years ago and spent about $500 on it , to restor it , so probably aound $2000, not silly money, have a great day Tim.

  • Well here is the USA I never see them for sale!

  • I have a 1484 too but I have a question. Your mechanism operates much slower than mine. Mine whips the record down and the tone are barely misses it. Same when record is removed. Any thoughts? Also, any recommendations for amp work?

  • Hi Tim! Nice!

I have a 1484 fully restored and had a question. Inside yours looks baby blue. Is that something special you did? Or just a effect from the video. My needle arm and everything is purple like yours..but the housing all around it is while.

  • Hey Tim - GREAT video! I became the owner of one of these myself over the weekend; it's been sitting high on a shelf in an arcade machine/concessions shop for about a decade. It's in decent condition - mostly full of dust with not much detracting from it otherwise. He said it's in need of a little work, but not much, and we're going to refurb it together in his shop. One year and $1000 later and it might be ready to come home is my guess :P My first juke - I'm stoked!

  • Just beautiful !!! Great restoration job. I need to find one !!

  • Well worth every cent that you spent!Very cool box..awesome cause it's small a cool looking!
