i first heard this whaen i was living by the lake of the ozarks in mo. bout 69or 70,,i had a chevy convertable and would just ride around the lake at nite taking in its beauty,,this was playing on my 4 track tape player,,now ya go there its nothing but concrete and shopping malls,,thanks for bring back memories of a better time in my life,,no,a better time for the world

I agree, there's been a lot of changes since the 60's and not all of them for the better! But there's still beauty in the world that's worth preserving, and I think that the song's still valid now...maybe even more so now that the world's beauty is in so much peril!
