How can it be bad sales tactics if the DSTT is still selling strong? And don't say if they didn't they would have sold more because no one has access to their sales data. And unless you do, don't make the assumption that it is stupid.

If that rumor about DSTT splitting into two factories is true, why would the makers of DSTT create a Firmware to corrupt the "New" DSTT flashcarts? It must be because the "New" DSTT is a cheap clone.

But even still, Bricking people who accidentally bought fake DSTTs when they thought they were buying real ones? That doesn't seem too fair on the buyers part. With tactics like that, I hope the makers of DSTT get sued. Destroying a buyers SD card in addition to the DSTT is NOT in any way fair.

The reason for using the program (according to the company anyway) is because a fake DSTT can damage your DS. What would you rather lose? A DSTT (which is less than $10 if you know where to look) or a DS? ($149)
