There is a problem with social security. Do you read your statements? They put right on it that a few decades down the road they will pay out 70 percent of what was promised. Privatization is the answer for those who are 18 now. The rest of us will likely have to eat the shortage through taxes or reduced benefits. Congress can fix this ponzi scheme by seperating the insurance part from the investment part. Give young people privatization.

@Freezeoptionpass: there is NO problem with Social Security. It is publicly owned and financed by income taxes, so it's unlikely to insolvent. It is one of the last things cut in government spending because people get up in arms about getting rid of it.
