The Good Life Ep.2

DEMIS POV:
It is now about 10 at night. We've passed one state and only been off the bus once. I'm feeling the need to scream. I looked over at Joe who was strumming his guitar again. He caught my look, smiles, then went back to his guitar. This is going to be a long tour.
JOES POV:
Okay, so, she looks at me randomly. Is that a good thing? Does that mean she likes me back? Oh my God, Joe. You don't even know her favorite color.
Joe: So what your favorite color? *thinking* Wtf?
Demi: Umm, it's a tie between red and black. You?
Joe: Blue.
*Demi nodds*
JOES POV:
Seriously Joe. Tame yourself. She's way too young for me anyway. I mean, she's 3 years younger, but, considering I'm a legal adult and she's still a teenager, it wouldn't be right. But, God, she's beautiful.
NEXT MORNING
JOES POV:
I woke up and looked over at Demi. Even when she's asleep, she's amazing. I got up quietly, so I wouldn't wake her up, got some clothes out of one of my bags, and went and took a shower. I thought about the tour and realized that I have 2 days with nothing to do except get to know Demi. That made me happy. I took the shower quickly because less shower time means more Demi time. I got out, wrapped a towel around my waist and figured out I got 2 shirts but no jeans. I sighed and started walking back to my bag. As I got to the bunks, Demi opened the curtain to her's and I stopped dead in my tracks.
Demi: *scans him* What are you doing?
Joe: G- Getting a pair of jeans.
Demi: Most people do that before they take the shower.
Joe: Well, I thought I did but I got 2 shirts instead.
*Demi can't help but stare at his abs*
Joe: *slightly grins* What?
Demi: *looks away* Nothing.
Joe: *grinning* You were staring at my abs.
Demi: Yes, I was.
Joe: And only you would admit that.
Demi: Sure. *jumps out of her bunk and walks away*
*Joe shakes his head, grabs a pair of jeans, goes back to the little bathroom and get's changed. He walks out of the bathroom and hears quiet crying*
Joe: *goes into the place where all the sats are and see's Demi crying* Are you okay?
*Demi shakes her head while looking down and crying*
Joe: *sits down beside her* Well, what happened?
Demi: *crying with herhead down* My grandma died.
Joe: Oh. *comforts her the best he can* It'll be okay.
Demi: *looks up at him* Sure. Death is perfectly fine. You know, it runs in the family.
Joe: It runs in our family too.
*Demi laughs a little*
Joe: See? Everything's gonna be fine.
Demi: Thanks.
Joe: That's what I'm here for. Well, that and the tour.
