Jess Ghannam, a Palestinian-American doctor and professor, welcomes the recent Israeli election of Prime Minister-Delegate Benjamin Netanyahu for surprising reasons, but Jamal Dajani, senior director of Middle Eastern programming at Link TV, says Netanyahu is a setback for the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
-----
Will there ever be peace in the embattled Middle East? As the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians swells from the recent rocket attacks against Israel and Israel's offensive in Gaza, many questions have been raised about the future of the Palestinians.
Where do they go from here? What actions are needed from the international community to help end this war? Amidst the violence and fleeing refugees, can a Palestinian state actually come to fruition? Even though Hamas has suffered casualties, have they won sympathy?
A panel of Palestinian voices and experts share their outlooks for the region. --The Commonwealth Club of California

Jews are there to stay in their homeland. Land given to the by God and according to Allah.

Palestinian Arabs demand that all Jews leave West Bank and Gaza (future Arab state). These Jews have to move to Israel. Why then the Arabs in Israel shouldn't be required to move to the new Arab country called Palestine.
What is good for one side should be good for the other, else we are talking with discrimination against the Jews.

Jews already live in Palestine! Double standard is when members of one religious group can access Holy sites in Jerusalem without restrictions and the others can not.

Suppose there is going to be a two state solution. why is it that Jews wont be able to live in Palestine and arabs still think they have the right to have a 20% minority in israel .. this double standard is ridiculous..

Warmperson2007, I don't know if she said it, but this statement is repeated here in israel many times because of one simple thing: considering peace between israel and gaza (w.b.) will happen, and 1.5 million arabs stay in israel as its citizens, they will ultimately turn israel to a muslim country because they reproduce in a much faster rate than we do. Currently, the rate of birth is such that in 48 years arabs will have a slight majority in israel, just a little bit more than 50%.

Jess Gahnam claims that even Tzipi Livni has stated on many occasions that she would like to see 1.5 million Palestinians move to the W. B. and the Gaza strip, the moment a Palestinian state will be established there. Is this claim true? When did she make such a statement?

"The racist brutal nature of israeli policy" But don't call them jews because that would be racist. Are jews trying to destroy themselves?
