@TheNomidian u are wrong because while it says ego eimi look up the septuagint of exodus3:14 it makes no grammatical sence that Jesus said "before Abraham was I AM" if what he was trying to say that he pre existed he woudve said "i was"..about the meaning of the word "worship" i agree with you but in the verses i gave u i ment they treated him like God & actually calling him God,u say he never said he was God BUT HE ALSO NEVER SAID HE WASNT...he revealed himself!

It is clear enough to everyone that there are no sayings of Jesus where he claimed "I am God" or "Worship me". The God of Abraham in the Old Testament stated "I am God" over 200 times, yet Jesus never uttered those words once in the Gospel.

the word translated as worshipped in both verses is the Greek word proskuneo {pros-ku-neh'-o} which literally means: "To kiss, like a dog licking his masters hand" "Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and worshipped Daniel..." @sexyassbrowneyes the original of th first text is in Hebrew # ,exodos3;14#, while the original of the 2nd is in Greek.(john8;58 ) For 200 yrs before the time of Jesus the Jews used a Greek translation of their Hebrew scriptures, the Septuagint. This work translated the key phrase I am of Exodus as HO ON. However, the words of Jesus, I am, have been given in Greek as EGO EMI

@TheNomidian exp of that; john9;35-38,isaiah40;30,john5;­18,phill2;5-6,titus2;13 paul calls him the Great God!in john20;28 Thomas gets on his knees before Jesus & calls him "my Lord and my God" revelat22;12-13,16 Jesus claims to be "the alpha & the omega the beggining & the end" why does he keep repeating things only God coud say? isaiah45;23-24 Jesus "every knee shoud bend,every tongue allegiance to me"NONE OF THIS WOUD MAKE SENCE IF JESUS IS NOT GOD!
