A short clip from the period drama Onegin starring Toby Stephens and Ralph Fiennes. I think the singing is quite good actually but the German language is butchered pretty badly...oh well.

When he says: "Lenskiy, Vladimir Lenskiy" doesn't it remaind you something? :) As for me we are only to thank the director for he is not saying this phrase in a way James Bond says "Bond, James Bond". I mean the intonation.
jndvuivnf , I am afraid, you're mistaken ^^ Advise you to watch our film-opera made in 1958 if you haven't already seen it. You can easily find it here on the youtube. So different from what is shown in the british film, that I am even not going to compare, but I still recommend :)
Bravo!!! LOL! LOL!LOL! The funniest comment I've ever read! "ONE GIN" is the name of this silly movie and the greatest poem of Russian literature is called "Eugene Onegin".
The two of them are among the greatest British actors ever!!! I am from Bulgaria and and I learned for the existence of Toby not long ago,but ever since I've downloaded most of his films and I think he is exceptonaly talented!!!! Not to mention his appearance....He is extremely goodlooking...Too bad he is married...
OMG yes! The whole reason why I found this clip is because I saw him in Jane Eyre and Googled/YouTube'd him to find out who he reminded me of. Turns out he reminded me of himself!
