PT 3 - Since Revelations 13:7 tells us the antichrist will have power to overcome the saints, you cannot say Christians are not raptured but remain here in the tribulation. That alone proves post-trib is a flawed understanding of the bible. We cannot be here and simultaneously be protected by God (Isaiah 26:20-21; Luke 21:36) and at the same time the Antichrist overcomes us Christians (Revelation 13:7). Also, the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit, and in us, and taken out of the way.

PART 2 - Since I cannot read either Latin or Greek, I cannot tell you exactly where the terms raptare and harpazo are in the bibles in these languages.
The point of the video was to show scripture strongly indicating a pre-tribulation rapture. I cannot understand why many simply ignore these verses. Verses on our blessed hope, comforting each other with these words, escaping all these things, etc. make no sense if we're in the tribulation.

@ServantForYHWH -- The word "rapture" comes from Latin verb raptare, root of which is rapto (means to seize, carry off, snatch away). This Latin word raptare, in the Latin bible, which preceeded English-language bibles, was transliterated into English as "rapture". The Greek word harpazo (in copies of the early Greek new testament manuscripts) means to be caught up or snatched up. Similarly, the word
"trinity" is not found in the Bible either, but the equivalent, "Godhead" is.

whats does Matt 24 22 say? 22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

@esquiredalegunn -- Exactly. The tribulation saints will have it very difficult, and they will have to reject the mark and get executed for their faith in Jesus. Yes, there are elect in the tribulation, those that find Jesus after having missed the rapture. And we so don't want to be there. Let's claim the promises in Luke 21:36 that we can escape the wrath to come as did Noah and Lot (and end times will be as in days of Noah and Lot - Luke 17:26-30).

After I became a Christian in the early 80s, I devoured every Hal Lindsey book that I could get my hands on. It was through Hal that I first learned of the imminent Rapture. I remember listening to Whiteheart's song: "He's Returning" and "The Day After Tomorrow Show" skit by 'Isaac Air Freight'. Amazingly, that was 30 years ago, and I still believe the fact that Jesus is returning for His Bride before the Tribulation. John 14:1-3. Keep looking up!

@MrCairokid -- That is inspiring to hear. I recall seeing the Late Great Planet Earth documentary feature in the theatres when I was a kid (that was 30 years ago). Hal is like the grandfather of modern end times watchers. And now we're finally at that point of time. So many signs are upon us. Jesus is at the door!

Rapture from Latin: rapio ―seize, carry away‖; Greek: harpazo ―caught up‖ The eschatological event in which Christians still living on the earth will be ―caught up together with them [deceased Christians who have been resurrected] in the clouds to meet the Lord [Christ] in the air‖ (1 Thess. 4:17).

@amwaitingforrapture -- Thanks for your post. You can see I'm spending a little time trying to get Christians who are not awaiting the rapture (for example, post-tribbers) to understand that yes, there is an imminent rapture and it could be any day now.
