I created this sorc because I wanted an all-in-one mf'er, and I don't like playing hammerdins. In this video I take on Countess, Andarial, Summoner, Mephisto, Eldritch, Nilithak, and Baal. A normal run will take me about 10 minutes total. If I don't do baal, I can do the rest of them in 4-5 minutes usually.

I'm not super geared in this video, I used Tal Rasha's set and some lame boots / gloves / rings / shield. I was able to trade an um for a +1 BO CTA, and then got super low (and cheap) sorc torch and annihilus charms by trading on www.d2jsp.org. I had about 300 mf when this video was created.

My damage spec is as follows:
20 Frozen Orb
20 Ice Bolt
10 Cold Mastery
1 Frozen Armor

20 Chain Lightning
12 Lightning Mastery
1 Static
1 Nova

My merc:
um'd Shaftstop
shael'd Reaper's Toll Thresher
Tal Rasha's Mask

This gives him full resists, 30% damage reduce, and 25% life steal. For the most part, he can tank anything. He's a nightmare, act 2 defensive merc, with the Holy Freeze aura. The Reaper's Toll Thresher casts level 1 decrepify, which reduces the damage he takes, and increases the damage he dishes out, which makes it an ideal starter weapon for a merc.

Yes, I am using a maphack. I get bored teleporting in circles over and over, and if I get banned then I get banned. If you consider going in circles to be an important part of the game, then by all means a maphack is not for you. If you're like me and consider these circles to be a pointless barrier to enjoying one of your favorite games, then you won't feel bad about downloading a maphack. Regardless, I didn't download the hack not knowing the risks involved. I don't use any other hacks, bots or mods. Just a very simple mh so I can enjoy this game.

Very nice drops, was this before they cahnged the MF% mechanic or after? I knew in the early stages of the game MF was insane but now it has diminishing returns. From the age of this video I feel like it is the new mechanic but i was wondering if anyonw knew.

Hi, I always thought 10 points in Cold Mastery was unnecessary (with the amount of +skills you have) because enemies cannot go past -100% resistance? The extra points could help Chain lightning damage? Also wouldn't getting Lightning mastery work better than Lightning, because the mastery provides more damage for Chain Lightning?

@Andrew06923 BAAL for example has +50 cold resist in hell, mephisto has +75, and nihlathak has +70. Getting up to that -170 resists helps your sorc a lot since you're already gimping her by going dual elements.

@Nhordmyr When you complete a set like tal rashas it puts that aura around you. It doesn't do anything except look cool :)

@faiye1 he's not using any target abilities only aoe ones, only the target spells can be bound to left click

@JumpIn Because of nilithak. See how badly his corpse explosion hurt the sorc? By using chain light I could stand at a distance and just fire into his circle. It would do good damage to the minions out of range of the majority of his corpse explosions. Even If I'd put the rest of the points into lightning instead, it wouldn't have been very significant damage. So the idea was to let the merc handle anything that was really tough and cold immune, and use chain light to soften the cold immunes.
