they are such an influence for me personally as a musician. I am trying to get my band to listen to them more and the appleseed cast (end of the ring wars and mare vitalis, especially). everyone talks about sunny day real estate and mineral, but I happen to think that Eric Richter and Christopher Crisci (not to mention Aaron Pillar) have a way of making their music speak.

I loved it when Kent McKlard of Ebullition Records called this, "lovemaking music for hardcore people," or something like that, lol

one of the most under appreciated bands ever in my opinion... the great days were when they were touring with Jimmy Eat World and Promise Ring... "Emo" was in full swing then...
