HTC Desire television advertising spot in Australia.
I saw it first on 13 May 2010 (?)

You can see the advert was adapted for Telstra - the major carrier in Australia.
Telstra clinched a 6 months deal for sole distributorship in Australia.
My first thoughts were that Telstra were going to "kill" the HTC Desire, by just leaving it to word-of-mouth. But I'm impressed that the Desire is getting such relative high rotation.

This is an "Australian Television Advertisement"; ergo, the advertisement was shown on Australian television. I quoted seeing this advertisement broadcast on Australian TV on May 13 - the posting of this video was May 20. I'm not sure how I can make these points any clearer.

@GODLOVEEESYOU Dude, you're Preaching to the Perverted here. I bought my phone from the UK & got it before Telstra's Australian launch. The video was played nearly 6 months ago & looking at Telstra's site, the HTC Desire is out of stock.

But then, they only had exclusivity for 6 months.

Anyway, as it is with everything, it's the shopper's responsibility to find the price that suits them. If you purchase it from O/S, then you'll have to get it repaired in the country of purchase...
