Also, just wanted to mention that The Path of Least Resistance by Robert Fritz (and his more recent book Your Life As Art) go together very well with this book, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Thanks so much for introducing me to this book! Truly transformative ideas... Just wanted to mention that in the book, Maxwell Maltz goes into a lot more detail on self-image so for those who have not already read the book, I would highly recommend it for a deeper understanding of just how important self-image is. It's so important, in fact, that (in the words of the author), "You will 'act like' the sort of person you conceive yourself to be. [...] you literally cannot act otherwise." (p. 3)

@gowiemeister hehehe. Thx for your kind words! :)
Hi Brian I really love your channel wish you a prosperous new year. I started reading psycho-cybernetics recently I'm rather confused on how to implement the exercises . For example 30 minutes a day on imagination (theater in my mind) and the relaxation exercise which is also 30 minutes each day. I do them one after the other or at different times during the day? thank you

@kjaymadmike I'd recommend what Herbert Benson (Harvard MD/brilliant researcher into this stuff) recommends: 12-15 minutes of inducing the relaxation response then 8-10 minutes for the visualization--leading to a much more manageable 20-30 minutes of goodness. The key is to do it CONSISTENTLY! Ideally, every day. :) That help?!
