This took about 45 minutes to upload, and only after did I find that I made a mistake with one of the pictures at the end.
As for the movie, it was a mediocre yet fun science-fiction film with an authentic, grungy future setting and a visually striking depiction of cyperspace. And you can always count on Keanu Reeves to try hard and give you a fun, if not believable, performance. This was certainly a refreshing change from crud like Skyline and Stranded.

(Note: Aside from my YouTube avatar, I do not own any of the media in this video.)

Cheers!

  • It's feel like a runner up to The Matrix.

  • @Darkhillpic28

That's a good way of putting it!

  • This doesn't really have anything to do with the movie but I don't think a desire for wealth is some "everyone" can relate to. Some people may despise being wealthy.

Nobody does deadpan with more passion than Reeves.

  • @LightVSDarkness64

You're right when you say that not everybody wants to be wealthy, but most of us want to live comfortably, and that does require a good income. Having a little more (not an excessive amount, and not out of greed) would be a bonus.

And Keanu Reeves is indeed the most dedicated deadpan actor since Raymond Burr in the fifties.

  • Another good review iv got this film, its not great but its ok and i like Keanu to, hes good at sci-fi films the matrix is defently my #1 film of all time, I also like "the day the earth stood still" (remake) *sci-fi nutter*

  • Watched this again tonight. Really good fun and enjoyable fluff.

  • I had fun with this one as well, back when I saw it.

  • 1995 was THE year of stupid cyberspace movies. If I may, I recommand you check out 95's "Hackers," starring a young Angelina Jolie, which is both worse and more enjoyable then Johnny Mnemonic.

  • oh man i saw this on tv once, ages ago. i didnt remember it untill your review!
