People say that Watergate was a major cover up. that was NOTHING! The Sopranos wacked a few dozen people. These guys are murdering millions yet the "journalist" don't cover this. put these documentaries in the schools and let the teaches get an education too

I am an institutional child abuse survivor and they tried to get me on Prozac and other stuff for years. I needed to see the people who had violated my childhood punished, not to be drugged up with poison! I was hurting because the people who had hurt me had got off scot free, and I was being treated like a moron because the childhood abuse wrecked my career prospects.

This is absolute fear mongering bull shit. Yes, some people are misdiagnosed, some will end up abusing medications, some won't respond as they should to a medication, but there are so many others who take these medications and it drasticly improves their quality of life. It s ultimately up to an individual to use or not use amedication and if used to use it propperly and monitor themselves for side effects. This seems like a film that belongs in the same catagory as Reefer Madness.

i was forced to take anti depressants since i was 15, it ruined my life... I'm 28 now and have been off anti-depressants for about 5 months now. Paxil gave me high blood pressure as well as making me not feel anything for anyone. Since then it's been hard. I had an upsurge of extreme emotion but have since learned how to handle it.

Thank you for this post. (*Big Sigh..) well...i'm going to hold onto what innocence I have left of my inner child.

I'm going to eat more vegetables and not put anymore doctor prescribed, doctor approved amphetamines in my body.

If we all pull out (*insert that's what she said joke) of supporting biased diagnosis and the purchase of harmful RX medicines will eventually go down and kids will finally be able to come up in this world as "Life Personified" normal living kids.

@tenajot Because the government makes these drugs. They can make you or any reports dissapear. Any journalist would be shot down (not literally) if they tried to bring up a story against the pharmaceutical agencies.

can't tell you how glad i didn't go on zoloft or whatever when i was younger, after i told my shrink that i refused to go on the antidepressents he kept trying to push it on me more, then i threatened to just quit the sessions, and he just about flipped out. I was 17 at the time, and was going to a counselor just bc of some things going on then. He kept telling me I was sick in the head, and said these horrible things would happen if I didn;t go on antidepressents, I'll take my chances.

This is a problem for people who speak out against over prescribing, they get tarred with association with the extremist hate group the church of scientology and the citizen's commission for human rights; those whose agenda is "the global obliteration of psychiatry".

Many adults and children have been helped by drugs and other therapies. Many have also suffered. All those with bad stories of the drugs initially sought them as a solution.

I agree with informed choice not global obliteration.
