I have wanted one of those for a while now. Might be next on my list. FWI Josh Randall carried a shortened Winchester Model 1892 carbine, called the "Mare's Leg, on Wanted Dead or Alive. Looks identical to the Rossi.

I actually came up on one of these not even looking. I posted an ad for my Ruger Vaquero. The guy traded me a Rossi Ranch hand .357 and $200 for it. I know Vaqueros don't go for more than the ranch hands but mine was completely customized. The only thing on it that was stock was the barrel and the frame. But I like the new Rossi. I will be shooting it this weekend.

I got mine today great gun and price was awesome. 440.00. I also grabbed what they had in Hornaday Cowboy action. This is a great gun.

@Leprechraun No you cannot shoulder it. If you could, that would make it a class 3 short barreled rifle.
