Blues in E (Freddie King Style)

Freddie King style Blues in E. This isn't an actual song, I just improvised along to a backing track which sounds similar to "Hideaway."

The guitar is my Gibson Les Paul Studio, running through a Marshall amp with 1/8 gain and 1/8 reverb.

How long have you been playing?

There's one thing I've got to stress though. Get a new amplifier ;) This one is pretty shabby and makes you sound worse then you really are! So try to save up some cash and treat yourself to a real tube amp!

Thanks :) I've played on and off for about 13 years in all, but only really started playing properly (i.e. learning scales instead of just playing transcribed stuff) about a year ago.

I agree on the amp, I need a whole new recording setup really - what I have is pretty limited and it ruins the quality of the audio.

Learning scales > Tabs, definitely.

The recording process is always harsh on the tone unless you get a good mic ;)

But, I know that amp. It's a Marshall MG, correct? No offense. But it's quite the POS, no match for your guitars at all.
