Bank of India home loan commercial 2011

Something about this script made want to audition for it when the prod house ran it by me. It let me play this 'as simple as it can get kinda guy'. 1 of the 3 other films BOI did, this ad film interestingly took all the 3 actors involved for the first time to kolkatta. Shot in 1 day by a director i was really happy to work with Shivendra Singh (aka Shivi in the ad world) and his team at Dungarpur films. Agency O n M. The girl playing wifey is Aditi Sharma - very charming indeed.

So, I would not consider a home loan that pitches itself on that tray......Why not have a landlady open the door or you and your wife wait impatiently for a friend or another flatmate couple till they arrive with the keys...or something.....Why to say - Go buy your own home with our loans becoz we know you want to get rid of your parents aka romance ke kabab ki haddi??

It's a mother who opens the door towards the fag end!....It does not fit in that context.....It reeks of the 'parents are an intrusion to our lives', arrogant generation

Great ad too....pulls the strings of heart ...soft and coy....best after the Airtel 'tumhara til kahan gaya' ad:)....But but, sry..to ruffle the feathers of copy team here?
