@BrokenFlex It will allow you to play almost anything via Windows media player....And what ever it doesn't cover is by the player it comes with will.

yo, dude. Like would this still work if i like rendered videos off sony vegas? would it still play?

I'm having problems with my youtube uploaded videos, they run great on my computer but on youtube they are out of sync. I don't know if this is going to solve my problem, but well...I'll give it a try.
