Another method for ovalizing circular stainless steel chimney liners. Device designed and built in Pomona, California. We ovalized a 20-foot section of liner, this was just an offcut that we ran through the machine for demonstration purposes.

  • Where's the fun in that? Have some spirit. Besides, it was a 20' flue - this piece was just a cutoff.

  • Down size a 1/2"and go smooth wall to make up the difference.

  • Why dont you just unravel a full length staighten it well and hammer it down with an 8x12 flue as you walk along. Its faster and works just as well.Although ordering ovalized is more professional. Its also more professional to not use single ply corrugated liner as its shit and deteriorates fast contrary to lifetime guaranteed stainless beliefs....

  • must be a newfie ovalizer to go through all that work for a short piece! Spend some money and get a real one.

  • ha ha very cool, not much buttercupping either, pretty cool!
