CHILDREN MYSTERIOUSLY SUNBURNT IN FEBUARY - MAGNETOSPHERE DROPPING?

Around two-dozen high school students come home, in the middle of winter with what looks like... Get this--- a sunburn.

Now, parents and teachers want to know how this happened.

It's a mystery in the community of Hathaway and it has people burning to know the answers.

"We don't know what caused it," parent, Donald Demary said.

"We just kept trying to find answers," Hathaway High Principal Mona Miller said.

On Wednesday, about two dozen Hathaway High School students came back from a field trip with what appears to be a sunburn.
The mystery is, students and teachers don't know what caused it.

"We have no idea," Principal Miller said.

"It's very bizarre." Demary says, "it's something we need to be very concerned about."

"We're grasping at straws." Miller says, "trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together."

The first stop on the field trip was a school conference in Rayne at the Civic Center; but only Hathaway High students have these burn symptoms.

"It looked more like a flash burn." Miller described, "or something someone would experience inside a tanning bed."

The students then stopped at a fast food restaurant in Crowley before heading home.

School officials say it could've been the lighting, allergic reactions or even chemicals.

"Something caused it," Principal Miller said. "I'd like to know what it was."

But right now, the school, students and parents just don't know.

my kids are outdoor kids and both came in sunburnt last month .about the 18th....2 days after a huge cme..and we live in scotland and its not exactly sunny in january..

what a poor investigation. How long where they outside for? Where did they eat? Was it just the kids or chaperons too? And what is this 'sun' thing u guys keep talking about?

This hapen to me,i went down to take out the garbage which i have done hundreds of times and by the time i came back i was sunburned! I know how long on can stay in the sun without getting a sunburn,which is a couple of hours,but this was only 5 min!

I go to Hathaway and those were my friends. They were fccla students who went to a conference and they stopped and ate at burger king in Crowley. Supposedly that burger king had the wrong light bulbs causing some kids with that sunburn.

ive been "burnt" wind, sun, fire, oil but fire and oil was my fault from working in a kitchen. i have been burnt from the wind in winter but more recenty from the sun while weareng 30+ sunscreen, THICK (i have photos) im not light skinned and when i do get sun ive always gone just a bit darker, but this fried me and it was overcast??? i know some say the clouds can intensify the rays like a magnifying glass but dont the have to be kinda inline and uninformed

@mythoughtsalone Two main factors about this story bear the most attention, I think. It sounds like the students were mainly indoors (school, conference hall, restaurant, school again), and they were the only ones.

Two race horses in England at a race meeting drop dead in front of thousands, we are now being told they were killed by an underground electrical cable!

The men leading the animals were unharmed.

You can never really believe what your told anymore.
