@jaimo74 Suicide formed in '71 and were getting gigs in CBGB's since it opened, so I don't know...

@royorbitol The Talking heads were first to release a record. They beat Suicide to it by 2 months, however, Suicide formed 3 years before the Talking heads did. No Wave vs. New Wave. I don't think the talking heads could've made it anywhere without Suicide, Teenage Jesus, DNA, and Theoretical Girls leading the way.

@Megajosh2 Talking Heads first album (talking heads 77) was released in 1977... the same year this album was released.
