While most racing series hold their final racing event at this time of the year, A1GP used to start their winter season.
Here is the official highlight reel from the 2006/2007 season to remember how great the races were.

Good memories, stop doing strange Superleague or inventions like DRS and bring A1GP back...

I was never a big fan of the look of the cars but it was cool enough to see some racing in the traditional European off-season.
And the fact the races were great every time was just a bonus!
Whatever happens to it in the future I hope someone continues the concept of racing in warmer climes during the European winter, just so I can get my racing fix when nothing else is happening!

A1GP with those beautifal Lola cars was amazing! Its such a shame they changed to ferrari, which sparked its downfall! Auto GP may have their lolas but won't ever be like the A1!

I've seen A1GP twice, twice at Zandvoort. Especially the 2006/2007 was briljant! The trandstands and the dunes where packed! Bleekemolen drove like mad on a damp Zandvoort track. You can see some of the footage of the specific Zandvoort event in the clip.

@Tarzanbocht yeah, I've been to the opening race of the 2007/2008 season. Great atmosphere and there was atleast one pass every lap into Tarzanbocht
