I didn't know he had vitiligo... I first new of the disease after seeing a kid at the swimming pool who was "black" but almost completely white. I saw it again when I met Krizz Kaliko at the strange noise tour when it went to Milwaukee.WI.. His album, titled "vitiligo" is great and I suggest you look it up here on YouTube...

@diacony So people born with horrible congenital conditions such as cerebral palsy should stay the way G-d "threw them on the earth" as well? Your logic is flawed and your comment is illegible.

That being said, however, vitilgo treatments don't always work for everyone and there are plenty of photos detailing Mr. Jackson's condition, if you care so much. Look things up before spouting off uninformed opinions.

@diacony: Fire took his hair, and the nose/chin is surgically altered.. Michael's own son Prince even has vitiligo..

@diacony what the hell are you talking about? VITILIGO is a CONDITION that CANT be STOPPED. The video above, and the various MJ videos in which we see his skin gets lighter and looks like he has makeup on says it all. Also, Janet has said herself that vitiligo is common in their family. Shutup

i think yes he wanted to be white...he should stay as god thrown him on earth............Black......pe­ople shouldnt be confused with this deasese cause isnt true in michael jackson case.if he really had it, he could make to become black as people knew him, not white......his nose, hair, the 1999 nose isnt the same as he was black, so lets think....for funs, love u idol but dont make him appear as a saint...

White people can get Vitiligo. I know because I have it and Im white. For those of you who are ignorant, white people aren't actually white (at least most of us aren't) . Just like black people are not really "black". There are many different shades. A white person with it (I have it) makes my skin VERY white. Ever heard of an albino. Even the hair on the colorless patch loses its color.

We can chalk up the skin depigmentation to the vitiligo. As for the nose and the other surgery? We can say he was the typical hollywood type that may pump up their lips or get a nose job. He probably did hate himself and the way he looked. He was abused and was always told he had to be better. So sue him. The kiddie thing I cant defend.
