Hopefully military commanders will find another reason to kick them out now that DADT has been repealed. Thank God Patrick Murphy was voted out on November 2nd. How you want gays to leave, do you have any idea how that would hurt the US? American arts would suffer so much. Plus, I study at Northwestern, a school you would never be able to get in, mainly because you're an idiot. My classmates are going to be amongst successful people in society, contributing to the arts, sciences, humanities, journalism, engineering, and communications. Getting rid of such bright minds, including the gay ones, would simply be a horrible idea.

You can like a country but not like things about it... Just as you love America, despite repealing DADT, they can love America, despite their chagrin for it's homophobic policies. Also, why should they get out when they could change it? Can you imagine if MLK said "I hate the way blacks are being treated here, so rather than create equality for us, I'll leave?"

@gnr2391 Homosexuality is a mental behavior disorder. I feel sorry that they are born with a disease, but that is no reason to allow them in the military. If they don't like this country, they should get the hell out. Does that answer your question? As for Patrick Murphy, thank God effective January 5, 2011, he will no longer be my Congressman.
