Shows the disruption of a Jupiter-mass exoplanet at 1.5 times the tidal radius in 3d. Three isocontours are shown, the largest surface corresponds to 1e-3 grams/cc, the second largest to 1e-2 grams/cc, and the smallest to 0.5 grams/cc. Color shows temperature, with red being cold and purple being hot. The central contour is colored solid white to make it easier to see. The region shown in the video is fixed to the total system's center of mass (star and planet), leading to a slight motion of the planet relative to the video region.
