I wonder if the kit manufacturers originally intended us modelers to apply the plastic glue only to the few pin locators found on the wings, fuselages etc..it would be easy to assume this, even though this may apply better to theory than to practice. I did once try to run a medium plastic glue on the inside seam of the model fuselages to make an "invisible" joint, however this "backfired" and melted through the joints ruining the (test) subject fuselage ;-)
The only way one would end up with getting excess glue shoved out of the joint is if one puts on too much glue to start with.
If you are careful, you can get a bead of glue as thin as .5mm along the line of long parts, which is more than enough to hold them together without having to worry about excess getting squeezed out, duh.
Just shake the box really hard and everything comes together automatically, NOT! -Ha-ha-ha....Naah, tricloroethylene is the only good thing but it´s carciogenic so use a size 0 pointed brush and good ventilation!
I used to use that liquid poly cement that comes in a glass jar with a brush on the lid, and after a few days of building with that I think I could have just about thrown the whole lot away, that stuff is shite, it is not strong, it cant hold thin or small pieces, it melts paint, ruins the paint finish and takes forever to dry. Now I use cheap and cheerful CA, and it is a godsend. Provided you dont use alot (I use tiny spots) it doesnt ruin the finish, and you can even get clear set CA for glass
At the end you were talking about liguid glue with brush, well if you look In the background on your Left you can actually see some TAMIYA Extra thin cement which I think works best for models
Well u mustnt ever of used loctite glue? simple model glue cant get the model completely stuck, so I use loctite, and i aint an idiot and i do know what im talking about. loctite is all i use (well an a lil bit of revel glue) and its fine and it never wrecks the model so idk what ur talking about, only stupid ppl like you always fail at it.
Of course, think for about 30 seconds and you may have your answer. Don't worry about the smell, it is just because you have not used your brain in a while.

I suck at making models. Glue blobs all over. I'm too impatient.
