I don't particularly like hospitals, however, they are a necessity. I agree about germs, which is why i sit away from sick people, and GermX till the cows come home.

If you want to get over your fear, you have to decide what's more important, your friend, or the fear. Mind over matter.

I know this post is LATER than LATE, but my brother has a deeper fear than you, he won't even go near the hospital. My mother was DYING, and he could not go. It just was not happening, and my mother knew he would not come too. What makes his fear even more strange is that my father died 3 weeks earlier, my mother died 3 weeks after my Dad, you would think he would have went regardless. I have seen him try to go, he literally gets sick and just I can't describe it. So you do have company.

Awe. I hate hospitals too. I've had 6 surgeries since I was 5 years old and I just HATE the hospitals. The smell of them .. the cold feeling of them.. the long time in there.. the doctors.. the sick ppl with their germs.. not to mention.. I am soooo scared of elevators.. like no joke. I HATE elevators.
