What if the resurrection of Jesus Christ were put on trial? Would it hold up in a court of law---beyond a reasonable doubt? We believe the answer is absolutely! Why? Distributed by Tubemogul.
@77meggs77 If you are going to throw out eyewitnesses, then you might as well chuck all pre-modern history in the trashcan because 99% of it is from eyewitnesses. What do you know of the character of Napoleon? How about the conduct of Julius Caesar? Lincoln's assassination?
@SoCalAtheist Jesus is God the Son. He came to this earth in the form of a man, He was God in the flesh. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified and was buried and three days later He was resurrected from the grave. No the followers of Jesus knew that He was God the Son.
Oh, and those references to a jesus were from later dates than his life, and referred to jesus only in the context of focus of a religious movement. You left with the only textual account being the bible.
I accept that jesus likely existed, he was a man, and died as a man, and was deified by his followers as has been done before and since.

You and all who pretend to be more reliable than the Bible can only fool yourselves.

Unconvincing.
