@plaidsacolor Nah, man, it's because there are no quality recordings of theirs live. I felt the same way until I saw them in Denver last weekend. They clearly take good care of their acoustics, it sounded unbelievable.

I was right up front for their set. it was one of the only sets I've seen where the barrier almost fell over due to people trying to get closer. if you were small, you got crushed.

maybe it's just the quality of the live recordings I've watched, but Sleigh Bells seems like they might be a way better "album band" than live band, which is understandable considering how much post-production they do with their recordings.
