This Shelter is based on both a tree house and a Japanese tea house. These are both traditionally places of contemplation, which this shelter aims to recreate. The structure winds and is supported around a pine tree on the edge of Sherwood forest in Nottinghamshire, England. There are fantastic views into the forest from the windows on all sides and from the deck. The whole structure is made from pine trees from the local area, prefabricated and assembled as a kit of parts on site.
