The first video in a walkthrough requested by BlackoutOmega. Since I don't want to spend the rest of my life playing this game perfectly and I don't want to post videos where I die since it would be pointless for you to watch, I use an emulator to make a save state at the end of each completed Stage, but not during the Levels themselves, meaning that the Levels in each video are the result of my best play with no use of save states or cheats of any kind during their course. Anyway, I don't find the game that hard, anyone here every played the original Castlevania games on the NES? Super Castlevania IV is yet another attempt at retelling the first Castlevania game's story, but with new gameplay features and Stages. The whip can now be turned around on its own (doing half the damage) and there are improvements like the character will automatically walk on the stairs if you press right at the end of the Stage where he would have fallen to his death in previous games (you had to press down at the right spot instead). It's a very fun game, a fan favorite and a the music/graphics are top notch to give this game just the right horror feel to it. That's without saying that some spots use the famous Mode 7 graphics exclusive to the SNES, an effect that was pretty cool at the time. Don't forget, if you have requests like for another video game walkthrough or something, just ask here or on my channel or even by sending me a message and if I can make it, there are good chances that I will.
I got to say, that's a weird family tradition for the men to go kill vampires,I mean WHAT THE HELL WAS TREVOR THINKING?!!?

It sure is weird and I wouldn't like this burden, but since it takes a 100 years between each of Dracula's resurrections and with the life expectancy quite low in those times, I guess some men in the Belmont family die before reaching that goal.

Well Simon has had to kill Dracula what 3 times now?
BlackoutOmega 2 years ago
He had to kill him in Castlevania, Castlevania II and as for this game, it depends on a lot of things. The Japanese version treats Super Castlevania IV as only a remake of the first game, the American version says it's a sequel in-game and the official accepted canon storyline says it's only a remake too.

Also I was wondering if I could request another game. Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles?

It was already planned by me to do the SNES version of Dracula X (I know it doesn't have that CD soundtrack) at least at a future time. That is the title of the PSP release you said, I just have to see how well a video of this would turn out, I never honestly tried, but I know of a software that theoretically should do it.
