labour loved making people feel uncomfortable, like their every move was being watched, like a police state, while they were in power. constantly reminding us that if we dont pay all our taxes and try to hide any money from them, we will be punished. all the while they were doing this with OUR money. the fact that their party still exists at all is a disgrace to this country. THE LABOUR PARTY SHOULD BE DISBANDED.

Correct. We were witness to the largest 'bank' robbery in history and most of the population dont know or care.
Our problem is not that they have done this to us, but the fact that the majority of people will do nothing about it. In fact, you will be called a scrounger/hippy/crusty/liberal whiner by most for protesting about it.

people should worry less about MP's milking it for all it's worth & concentrate on the billions that are being given away to private hands

What I can't figure out is why they need to claim so much. An MP gets 45 grand + a year. Isn't that enough, or is the problem they need to pay staff out of that?

I was led to believe that MP's were 'honourable people' and that they could be trusted to claim correctly rather than 'it's-within-the-rules'. It just goes to show that when they get their noses in the trough they go on a feeding frenzy!!
