@paza360 They were too expensive, and the mass didn't want it because of it's price. And so the stripping of features began. And now we have a stripped down PS3 Slim.

@lordvader0215 if your a playstation fan then you should know that 60gb has been discontinued. anyone can afford a ps3, its so cheap and easy to hack, xbox 360 is where gaming is at

@EmperorOfRevenge all ps3 systems play ps1 games. just certain ps3 systems dont play ps2 games.

@gigan55 u can play ps2 on 60gb, 20gb, and the 1st gen 80gb. the 2nd gen 80gb, 40gb and slim DONT play ps2

wot was the reason thay stopped making these alot of people got rid of there ps2 becus thay thought thay can play them on there ps3 and only yhe 60 gb can do bawords capability i will stick to 360 and ps3 will never blow away the compation lacking to much and lack of games and exclusives
