hello, I might sound stupid, but I would like to ask about the bottled water you used. Is it bottled still water which we drink? I'm asking because I have just bought a lucky bamboo, and i don't know if bottled water is good to water with...

Any tips on propagating bamboo that has already been arranged and the roots have started to grow together? I bought a three stalk arrangement from the store and there are two straight with one wrapping around them... Seems like it'd be tricky to propagate.
my lucky bamboo has not really grown at all since iv had it probablly about 2 years no and the stalk is getting like dried up brown areas all over and i think one of the growths on it has shells. the hole thing is starting to look like crap is there anything i can do to fix it and get it growing????? please help :)

@niksch1986 Sounds like a fertilizer problem. Usually lb turns brown because of no fertilizer or root rott. Check your root system and try re potting it into new potting soil. See if that helps. Goof luck :)

I just made some cuttings and put them in water so that roots can begin to grow and some of the leafs on the bottom are turning yellow, what do i do, peal them off or leave them.

@Bambooman2010 If they are at the bottom then yes you can remove them. Just be careful not to remove too much.

@tankmdg I put green green into all the growing containers when I'm trying to root cuttings. It helps allot :)
