Well To bad for Van Halen Sammy was great and brought the band to a new level Roth wont sing any of the songs they did with Hagar. Roth Sucks these days. Sammy you are a class act.

Truly great musicians and legends don't mind what venue they're in. In fact, many stars play smaller venues anonymously (or otherwise) to stay sharp, and because smaller venues allow better connection with the audiences.
Examples of stars playing bars: Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, James Hetfield, Les Paul, B.B. King.

@derekmok How fuckin true. You have hit the nail right on its head, buddy. I have loved Van Halen and will always do but the way Michael Anthony was treated......thats really shameful. Pity as Van Halen/Sammy Hagar were a real powerhouse which I miss a lot.

You could like David Lee Roth's music better, but Roth can't touch Hagar for vocal ability.
And Hagar is a good enough guy to keep his friendship and partnership with Michael Anthony while getting Joe Satriani to join a band with him. In the meantime, Eddie Van Halen sticks his own son in the bass slot and ditches his bass player of 20-odd years, and David Lee Roth has to milk the Van Halen cashcow to stay relevant.

Sammy will always be fine without VH. He's a good entertainer who treats his fans well. DLR can not sing I don't care who you are. Half these video's I'm watching from the new concert....gag. He talks or sings realy stupid.
