@orange343434 The Yellow haired lady leaned out of her window, watched as he passed her way. She drew back in fear of the ragin' black stallion, but cast greedy eyes on the bay..(He killed her) The stranger went free of course. You can't hang a man for killin' a woman, who's tryin' to steal your horse...Etc etc, a most beautiful song! One of Willie's best.

Man, i don't know how many times i heard this going camping in the 70s in my dad's vw pop-up camper van. I remember thinking i was mean that he shot the lady lol. Gotta get this classic of Willie's.
