God doesn't torture helpless souls. You have a choice to pick. death with satan or life with Christ. God is giving that choice. He doesn't force anyone to choose HIM. Some call that "tough love". Fear chooses atheism which is just like a cult. If atheists don't believe in God, why does it come up so much from them? The only question to ask is; What If It Were True? either way, we don't loose.

It may be,But a book from "planet mungo"doesnt have millions of followers.They call it faith for a reason.You must blindly put your faith into...a book.A book known as the Bible.Whether you chose to bleieve it or not,Its one of the world's most evident reliegions,and you should at least consider looking into it.

What is the point of just quoting the Bible at people? It's just a barrier to communication. I mean, suppose I said that some book I hold in my hand...oh, I dont know, Messages from the Planet Mungo or something, contains only the Truth because its the word of aliens. And you said, nonsense. What would you then say if I then began quoting from this book stuff like, The aliens have put a lying spirit in the mouths of those who ridicule this book and so on. It really is no different.

Yes it does sound crazy. It IS crazy. And no, you don't make the rules. However, what you do is observe something that is crazy and don't dismiss it. You observe something crazy that people claim is the word of God, and you don't say to yourself, it CANNOT be the word of God. You observe something crazy alongside a lot of other crazy, illogical, demonstrably false, often contradictory stuff in a book supposed (by whom?) to be the word of God, and you don't say, Stop! This is not the word of God.

I agree that war is always about territory and resources. I'm not sure what you mean when you say all leaders have been atheists, however. Do you mean all leaders who have started wars? This is clearly not so. What about George W. Bush, for one. Or was he just pretending to be a devout Christian?

Is your point that a devout Christian would never do business with a satanic Islamic dictator (meaning Saddam?) and that since Bush did do business with Saddam, he could not have been an authentic Christian?
